Who we are
Musket Advisors LLC (“Musket,” “we,” “us”) is an energy and commodity advisory firm based in Lakeville, Minnesota. We operate this website and LoadLink™, a dispatch and delivery-verification platform used by fuel and commodity distributors (“customer companies”) and their drivers and office staff. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to info@musketllc.com.
What we collect
- Website inquiries. If you write to us, we receive what you send: typically a name, company, email address, and your message.
- LoadLink platform records. A customer company enters its own business records into LoadLink: the names, mobile numbers, and equipment assignments of its drivers and staff; dispatch instructions; and delivery records such as gallons, tank readings, notes, and photographs of delivery paperwork. We process these records on the customer company’s behalf.
- Text-messaging records. When a driver or staff member consents to receive LoadLink text messages, we record the mobile number, the consent itself (date, time, and how it was given), the content of messages sent and received, and their delivery status.
- Technical records. Our servers keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To answer your inquiry.
- To operate LoadLink for the customer company: dispatching loads, recording deliveries, and carrying messages between drivers and their dispatch office.
- To send transactional text messages to people who have consented: dispatch instructions, links to record a delivery, delivery confirmations, and replies from dispatch. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
- To keep the platform secure, prevent misuse, and meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use personal information for advertising, and we do not build profiles for advertising purposes.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases:
- With the customer company whose records they are (a driver’s dispatch and delivery records belong to that driver’s employer).
- With service providers that host the platform and transmit messages on our behalf, such as cloud-hosting and telecommunications providers, under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing those services.
- When required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of any person.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messaging
LoadLink sends text messages only to drivers and staff who have provided their mobile number and given consent, on behalf of their own company. Message frequency varies with dispatch activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of employment or of any purchase. Retention
We keep website inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up. LoadLink records are business records of the customer company and are retained under its agreement with us and applicable record-keeping requirements; message logs are kept as part of the dispatch record. We keep opt-out requests for as long as necessary to honor them.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, stored with access controls in United States data centers, and available only to people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to the number that texted you. Your dispatch office will reach you another way.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email info@musketllc.com. Drivers and staff can also ask their employer, which controls their LoadLink records; we assist with those requests.
- Children: our website and platform are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
