Who is messaged

LoadLink sends transactional dispatch and delivery text messages, on behalf of the fuel and commodity distributors that use it (“customer companies”), to those companies’ own drivers and dispatch staff. No consumers and no members of the public are messaged, and nothing promotional is ever sent. Every driver consents individually through one of the three paths below before the first dispatch message; a driver who does not consent is simply reached another way. The full program terms are at musketllc.com/sms-terms.

Path 1 · Written consent on the onboarding form

During onboarding the driver receives this one-page form, reads the disclosure, checks Yes, writes the mobile number, and signs. The company keeps the signed form with the driver’s record.

The disclosure printed on the form, word for word:

“I agree to receive dispatch and delivery text messages from Musket Advisors LoadLink on behalf of [your company] at the mobile number I provide below. Messages include load assignments and dispatch instructions, a secure link to record a delivery, confirmation that a delivery record was filed, and replies from my dispatch office. Message frequency varies with dispatch activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment and I may withdraw it at any time. Terms: www.musketllc.com/sms-terms. Privacy: www.musketllc.com/privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.”

Path 2 · Verbal consent, read aloud from the script

When onboarding happens by phone or in the yard, the dispatcher reads the script below aloud, exactly as written. The dispatcher records the driver’s answer in LoadLink immediately (next section), under the dispatcher’s own name.

Dispatcher: “I’m going to read you our text messaging notice. LoadLink will text you load assignments and dispatch instructions, a link to record each delivery, confirmation when a delivery record is filed, and replies from this office. ‘I agree to receive dispatch and delivery text messages from Musket Advisors LoadLink on behalf of [company] at the mobile number I provide. Message frequency varies with dispatch activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment. Terms: www.musketllc.com/sms-terms. Privacy: www.musketllc.com/privacy.’ Do you agree to receive these messages at [number]? You’ll get one text confirming you’re enrolled.”
Driver: “Yes.”  (A “no” ends it; nothing is recorded and no text is sent.)

How consent is recorded in LoadLink

Both paths end in the same screen. On the Roster, the dispatcher opens Texting consent for the driver. The dialog shows the disclosure again, exactly as written, asks how the driver consented (Verbal — read aloud, driver agreed or Written — signed onboarding form), and on save records the date, time and method under the dispatcher’s name in an audited log. Saving sends the driver one enrollment confirmation text (below). By default, LoadLink refuses to send a driver any dispatch text until a consent record exists.

Path 3 · The START keyword

A driver may also enroll, or re-enroll after a STOP, by texting START from their own mobile phone to the number that sends their company’s dispatch messages: (612) 999-1295. The driver’s own START is recorded as consent by keyword; the driver receives the carrier-standard re-subscribe reply followed by the LoadLink enrollment confirmation below. A driver whose number is not on any company’s roster receives no dispatch messages; START alone never adds anyone to a roster.

The confirmation text

After the form or verbal paths the driver receives this one confirmation before any dispatch message (after a START it follows the re-subscribe reply):

Musket Advisors LoadLink for [COMPANY]: You’re enrolled for dispatch and delivery texts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
Opting outReply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT to any message. One final message confirms the unsubscribe; nothing more is sent unless the driver texts START.
HelpReply HELP or INFO to any message, or email info@musketllc.com.
FrequencyVaries with dispatch activity; a few messages per assigned load on days the driver is dispatched, none on other days.
CostMessage and data rates may apply per the driver’s carrier plan.
